किसान और अंग्रेज की दोस्ती(Farmer and English friendship)

एक किसान था उसके पास दो गाय, एक जोड़ी बैल और एक भैंस थी। वह रोज सवेरे उठकर अपने सभी जानवरों को चारा खिलाता था जब सभी जानवर चारा खा लेते थे उसके बाद नित्य क्रिया करके सुबह का नाश्ता करके अपने खेतों में काम करने चला जाता था।

There was a farmer, he had two cows, a pair of bullocks and a buffalo.  He used to get up early in the morning and feed all his animals, when all the animals ate the fodder, after that after doing daily activities, having breakfast in the morning, he went to work in his fields.

उसके परिवार में उसके अलावा उसकी पत्नी और दो बच्चे भी थे। जब किसान खेत में काम करने चला जाता था तो उसकी पत्नी भैंस और गायों का दूध निकालती और खाना बनाती थी।

Apart from him, his wife and two children were also in his family.  When the farmer went to work in the field, his wife milked buffaloes and cows and cooked food.

उसके बाद बच्चों को खाना खिलाना बाद में स्कूल के लिए तैयार करना, स्कूल में छोड़ना
बस यही इन सबका रोज का काम हुआ करता था। इनकी जिंदगी में किसी बात की कोई कमी नहीं थी। ये खुशी के साथ अपनी जिंदगी जी रहे थे।
कुछ समय बीत गया और उस गांव में एक अंग्रेज आकर रहने लगा। उसका घर उस किसान के घर के पास था वह उस किसान के जैसा गाय और भैंस को रखना चाहता था।

 That was just the daily work of all of them. There was no dearth of anything in his life. They were living their life happily.

 लेकिन उसके पास समस्या यह थी कि उसके पास जानवरो को खिलाने के लिए चारा भी नहीं था।
  अंग्रेज ने सोंचा क्यों न किसान के घर से कुछ चारा (भूसा) चुरा लिया जाय। ऐसा सोचा और बाजार जाकर एक गाय ले आया और रात को जब सब लोग सो गए तब अंग्रेज ने किसान के घर से चारा (भूसा) चुरा लिया। जब भी अंग्रेज के घर पर चारा खत्म होता तो वह किसान के घर से चुरा लिया करता था।

But the problem with him was that he did not even have fodder to feed the animals.

 The British thought why not steal some fodder (husk) from the farmer's house.  He thought so and went to the market and brought a cow and when everyone slept at night, the British stole the fodder (husk) from the farmer's house.  Whenever the fodder ran out at the Englishman's house, he used to steal it from the farmer's house.

किसान के घर पर भी अब चारा कम होने लगा और वो सोचने लगा कि क्या हो रहा है अभी तक कभी भी किसान के घर पर चारा (भूसा) कभी कम नहीं होता था। धीरे धीरे किसान को अंग्रेज पर शक होने लगा और उसने रात को रखवाली करने की सोंची।

he used to steal it from the farmer's house.

 Now the fodder started decreasing even at the farmer's house and he started thinking that what is happening till now the fodder (husk) was never less at the farmer's house.  Gradually the farmer started suspecting the British and he thought of guarding the night.

"अगली ही रात में अंग्रेज के घर चारा खत्म हो गया 

और वो सब के सो जाने के बाद किसान के घर चोरी करने पहुंच गया।"

"The very next night the English's house ran out of fodder.

 And after everyone had slept, he went to the farmer's house to steal.

जैसे ही अंग्रेज चोरी करने लगा किसान ने उसे देख लिया और अंग्रेज की ओर दौड़ पड़ा किसान को देख कर अंग्रेज भागने लगा।

As soon as the British started stealing, the farmer saw him and ran towards the British, seeing the farmer, the British started running.

"आगे आगे अंग्रेज और पीछे पीछे किसान दोनों भाग रहे थे। अचानक किसान की धोती एक खूंटे में फंस गई और वह गिर पड़ा इतने में मौका मिलते ही अंग्रेज भाग निकला। किसान तो उसे पहचान ही गया था"

"Both the Englishmen were running in front and behind the farmers. Suddenly the farmer's dhoti got stuck in a peg and it fell, so the Englishman ran away as soon as he got a chance. The farmer had recognized him."

इसलिए वह सुबह होते ही पुलिस थाने गया और अंग्रेज के नाम से रिपोर्ट दर्ज कर दिया।

मामला बढ़ गया और बात अदालत तक पहुंच गई और दोनों को अदालत में बुलाया गया।
सबसे पहले अंग्रेज को बुलाया गया
वह अंग्रेज था इसलिए उससे अंग्रेजी में सवाल किया गया, जो भी कहना था उसने अंग्रेजी में सब कह दिया। यह सब देख कर किसान सोंचने लगा कि मुझे तो अंग्रेजी आती नहीं है मै कैसे जवाब दूंगा। फिर सोचा चलो कोई बात नहीं है मैंने भी दूसरी क्लास तक पढ़ाई की है ऐसा जवाब दूंगा कि लोग देखते रह जाएंगे। इतने में ही किसान का बुलावा आ गया।
न्यायधीश, बताओ तुम्हारे साथ क्या हुआ है।

So he went to the police station early in the morning and filed a report in the name of the Englishman.

 The matter escalated and the matter reached the court and both were called to the court.

 First the British were called

 He was an Englishman, so he was questioned in English, whatever he had to say, he said everything in English. Seeing all this, the farmer started thinking that I do not know English, how will I answer. Then thought come on, there is no problem, I have also studied till the second class, I will give such an answer that people will keep watching. Just then the farmer's call came.

 Judge, tell me what happened to you.

किसान, "सर वन चोर इज कमिंग एंड घुसिंग माई भुसैला, फॉर चोराइंग माई भूसा।"
"I am भागिंग मुहारे मुहारे धोतिया फाट इज ए खूंटा।"
न्यायधीश ने पूछा, "ह्वाट इज ए खूंटा?"

Kisan, "Sir Van Chor is Coming and Ghoosing My Bhusaila, for Choring My Bhusa."

 "I am running muhare muhare dhotiya phat is a peg."

 The judge asked, "What is a peg?"

किसान, सर ही इज लांग लांग लंबू लंबू इज गाडिंग भुइयां
यह सुनकर वहां पर मौजूद सभी लोग हंसने लगे और किसान से कहा आपकी अंग्रेजी हमारी समझ में नहीं आ रही है तो कृपया आप हमें अपनी भाषा में ही बता सकते है।
तब किसान ने अपनी भाषा में सब कुछ समझा दिया।
न्यायधीश जी ने सब बात समझने के बाद अंग्रेज से किसान को उसके भूसा के बदले पैसा दिलवाया और अंग्रेज को सख्त हिदायत दी कि अगर उसे चारे की जरूरत है तो वह किसान को उसके चारे के बदले में पैसा देना होगा और तभी वह चारा ले सकता है अन्यथा उसके ऊपर दंड लगाया जाएगा। अंग्रेज के पास पैसे तो थे ही जब भी उसे जरूरत होती वह किसान को पैसा देकर चारा खरीद लिया करता था और किसान उस पैसे को अपने खेती के कामों में लगाता था जिससे खेतों में फसल और भी अच्छी होने लगी।

 Hearing this, all the people present there started laughing and said to the farmer that we do not understand your English, so please you can tell us in your own language.

 Then the farmer explained everything in his own language.

 The judge, after understanding everything, got the farmer money from the Englishman in exchange for his chaff and gave strict instructions to the Englishman that if he needed fodder, he would have to give money to the farmer in exchange for his fodder and only then he could take the fodder.  Otherwise he will be punished.  The Englishman had money, whenever he needed it, he used to buy fodder by giving money to the farmer and the farmer used that money in his agricultural work, due to which the crop in the fields started getting better.

और इस तरह से दोनों की जरूरतें पूरी होने लगी और वो दोनों एक दूसरे के साथ प्रेम से रहने लगे और अच्छे दोस्त बन तब

And in this way the needs of both of them started getting fulfilled and they both started living in love with each other and became good friends.
