 पांच ऐसे दोस्तों की है जिन्होंने शिक्षा और ज्ञान के अहंकार में अपने ही दोस्त को लज्जित किया करते थे। ईश्वर ने कैसे उन अहंकारी दोस्तों को दंड दिया। आप इस कहानी के माध्यम से जानेंगे इस लिए इस कहनी को अंत तक जरूर पढ़े।"

"Friends we have to say this

 There are five such friends who used to put their own friend to shame in the pride of education and knowledge.  How did God punish those arrogant friends?  You will know through this story, so read this story till the end.

पुराने समय की बात है एक आश्रम में पांच दोस्त एक साथ शिक्षा ग्रहण करते थे। उनमें से चार चालाक थे और एक सीधा, सरल स्वभाव का था उसके मन में किसी के लिए कोई भेदभाव नही था। उसके चारों दोस्त उसका मजाक उड़ाया करते थे। फिर भी वह उन्हें कुछ नहीं कहता था चुपचाप हंस कर टाल दिया करता था।

It is a matter of old time that five friends used to study together in an ashram.  Four of them were cunning and one was straightforward, simple in nature, he had no discrimination against anyone.  His four friends used to make fun of him.  Still, he didn't tell them anything, he used to laugh silently and put it off.

(कुछ ही दिनों में पांचों की शिक्षा पूरी हो गई और यह सब विद्वान हो गए। पांचों ने अपना अपना सामान इकट्ठा किया। अपने गुरु जी से आज्ञां ली और अपने घर की ओर निकल पड़े।)

(Within a few days the education of the five was completed and all of them became learned. All the five gathered their belongings. Taking orders from their Guru ji and left for their home.)

रास्ते में एक बहुत बड़ा जंगल पड़ता था। जब पांचों दोस्त बीच जंगल में पहुंचे तभी बहुत जोर से बारिस होने लगी। पांचों दोस्त एक साधू बाबा की कुटिया में जाकर छुप गए जो काफी दिनों से खाली थी। बारिश बहुत तेज हो रही थी जो रुकने का नाम ही नहीं ले रही थी जोर जोर से बिजलियां चमक रही थी घना जंगल था। जंगल में खतरनाक जानवर भी रहते थे जो रात होते ही बाहर निकल आते। धीरे धीरे दिन भी ढलने लगा था। डर की वजह से पांचों की हालत खराब होने लगी थी। किसी को कुछ भी सूझ नहीं रहा था कि वे क्या करें। सब एक दूसरे को जिम्मेदार ठहराने लगे थे। कोई कहता इसकी वजह से ऐसा हो रहा है तो कोई कहता उसकी वजह से ऐसा हो रहा है।

There was a huge forest on the way.  When the five friends reached the middle of the forest, it started raining very loudly.  The five friends went and hid in the hut of a monk, which was empty for a long time.  It was raining very fast, which was not taking the name of stopping, lightning was flashing loudly, there was a dense forest.  Dangerous animals also lived in the forest, which would come out at night.  Slowly the day was starting to fade.  Due to fear, the condition of the five had started deteriorating.  Nobody knew what to do.  Everyone started blaming each other.  Some say that this is happening because of this, while some would say that it is happening because of that.

चारों जो ज्यादा चालाक थे वह सोच रहे थे पांचवां जो सीधा साधा है उसी की वजह से ऐसा हो रहा है।

The four who were more clever were thinking that this is happening because of the fifth one who is simple.

अंत में चारों ने मिलकर एक उपाय निकाला और कहा सब लोग एक एक करके बारी बारी कुटिया से बाहर जाएंगे । और जो भी इस बरसात का कारण होगा उसके ऊपर बिजली गिरेगी वह मर जाएगा और बरसात रुक जाएगी।
उसके बाद सब बारी बारी से कुटिया से बाहर जाते थोड़ी देर रुकते और वापस आ जाते।

In the end, the four together came up with a solution and said that everyone will go out of the hut one by one.  And whoever is the cause of this rain, lightning will fall on him, he will die and the rain will stop.

 After that everyone would go out of the hut in turn, stay for a while and come back.

एक एक करके चारों ने अपनी बारी पूरी कर ली और उन्हें कुछ नहीं हुआ। अब बेचारा पांचवां बचा वह भी सोचने लगा सायद मै ही इसका कारण हूं मेरी ही वजह से बारिश हो रही है मेरे बाहर जाते ही मेरे ऊपर बिजली गिर जाएगी और बारिश भी रुक जाएगी।

One by one all four finished their turn and nothing happened to them.  Now the poor fifth left, he also started thinking that maybe I am the reason because of me, it is raining because of me, as soon as I go out, lightning will fall on me and the rain will also stop.

(चलो अच्छा ही होगा कम से कम मेरी वजह से इन चारों की जान तो बच जाएगी । )

(Let's be good, at least because of me, the lives of these four will be saved.)

वह अभी ये सोच ही रहा था इतने में चारों जोर जोर से बोलने बोलने लगे । बाहर निकलो तुम तुम्हारी वजह से ही हम सब फंसे हुए हैं तुम यहां से नही जाओगे तो हम सब मारे जाएंगे निकल जाओ तुम यहां से निकल जाओ।
वह बेचारा तो खुद ही बाहर जाने के बारे में सोच रहा था लेकिन ये लोग उसे बुरा भला कहने लगे । वह बेचारा तो खुशी खुशी बाहर जाने वाला था लेकिन सब धक्का लगा रहे थे बाहर जाओ बाहर जाओ।

He was just thinking this, when all four started speaking loudly.  Come out, we are all trapped because of you, if you do not leave from here, then we will all be killed, get out, you get out of here.

 That poor man himself was thinking of going out, but these people started calling him bad.  That poor person was about to go out happily, but everyone was pushing, go out, go out.

बेचारा पांचवां चुपचाप अपना सामान लिया और कुटिया से बाहर निकल गया और थोड़ी दूर जाकर खड़ा हो गया।

Poor fifth quietly took his belongings and went out of the hut and stood a short distance away.

 बारिश और भी तेज हो गई जोर जोर से बिजली चमकने लगी। उसे बाहर निकले अभी थोड़ी ही देर हुई थी कि अचानक जोर से बिजली चमकी और कुटिया के ऊपर गिर पड़ी और उसके चारों दोस्त मर गए और बरसात भी रुक गई।
पांचवां बेचारा अकेला ही चुपचाप अपने घर की तरफ चला गया।

The rain intensified even more and the lightning started flashing loudly.  It was only a short time before he came out that suddenly a loud lightning flashed and fell on the hut and all his four friends died and the rain also stopped.

 The fifth poor person went quietly towards his house alone.
